Weekly Update from your local Bablake NPT
Dear Members Here’s your weekly update from myself and the rest of the team.
What’s Been Happening . Burglaries There has been one burglary reported in the past week. This happened on Wall Hill Road. Investigation continues.
. Vehicle Crime Unfortunately, there have been several reports of vehicle crime in the past week. ☹ One report of a vehicle being stolen. This vehicle was taken from Kelmscote Road. An attempt to steal a motorbike was unsuccessful due to the offender being disturbed. He made off on foot towards Radford Road. A vehicle on Benson Road had its window damaged and another one on Copthorne Road had items stolen from the glove box.
You can mark all property with a UV marker making it easier for lost or stolen property to be returned should the worst happen. It is also a good idea to keep a record of where you marked the property and note down any serial numbers. You can register valuables at www.immobilise.com
. In other News Some members of team had the pleasure of patrolling the Coventry Half Marathon on Sunday. Lovely weather to go with it.
Other officers on patrol, had a motorbike make off when the rider spotted the marked police car. Pursuit followed but when he realised that he was not going to get away from them, he dumped the bike and made of on foot. Bike seized 😊
Another officer located a female that was wanted for failing to attend court. Arrested and she will be going to court 😊
Until next week Stay safe everyone.
